A society in need of court’s rulings has already lost

A heterosexual couple was denied a civil partnership for the second time yesterday at Islington Register Office, when they attempted to overturn the UK’s marriage laws. Tom Freeman and Katherine Doyle, both 26, are one of the eight couples seeking to challenge the twin bans on gay marriages and heterosexual civil partnerships.
